The ND23 Project

Our community listening sessions confirmed that neurodivergent (ND) individuals everywhere are tired of being looked over and talked at.
We decided to take action so that we are front and center when it comes to research, conversations, and decision making that involves NDs.
NDs are part of every conversation and decision from beginning to end!

Project Description

ND23 is dedicated to bringing neurodivergent self-advocates and allies together to engage in meaningful and action-oriented conversations which identify systemic barriers to our success so we can:
- develop action plans for sustainable change for ALL* members of the ND community and
- engage organizations and the global community in taking action toward that change.
Our current initiatives are:
- Self-Advocacy Guidebook - to be released April 2024
- Webinars and Live Events - Subscribe to our YouTube Channel
- Research Partnership - Reimagining "Work" and the Strengths Based Approach for NDs in the Workplace
Project Goals

Educate to inform, address bias and injustice, and correct misinformation

Engage in purposeful and meaningful conversations with NDs and allies

Create and plan through an intersectional lens representative of all community members

Challenge perspectives to promote growth and sustainability

We all deserve to have access and resources to advocate for ourselves and our community.
We need resources that support advocacy by NDs and for NDs.
So, we will research, study, and engage in collaborative activities to establish extensive, free access to evidence-based, community-created, ND-affirming resources.
